Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of First Impressions’ Human Resources Team. The role assists with relational, administrative, recruiting, and compliance related functions impacting our most valuable asset - our team members. Important contributions to the practice include interviewing, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and company policy and practice adherence.

Essential Functions. The duties identified below are the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned that align with the summary of this position.

  • Partners with the human resources manager and the leadership team, to understand and execute the human resource policies and procedures.
  • Works with others to collect time and attendance records, addressing any inconsistencies, and generating an accurate bi-weekly payroll.
  • Assists the human resources manager and other managers on benefits administration, reconciliation, compliance, and document management.
  • Provides employment compliance support to dentists, management, and other staff, addressing complex, specialized, or sensitive issues confidentially.
  • Partners with the human resources manager and other leadership on staffing needs, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Assists in maintaining the human resources information system (HRIS) data integrity and functionality, as it relates to recordkeeping, benefits status, and other features that are (or could) enhance employee relations.
  • Facilitates and follows a structured onboarding process for new employees, providing an overview of practice policies, benefits, and applicable administrative documentation.
  • Assists with preparation for performance reviews, resulting in well documented, accurate and timely feedback.
  • Assists in maintaining FMLA, EEO, ADA, Workers compensation, OSHA and other record keeping type activities and claims.
